Four most significant cycling achievements?
1.winning a round of the Scottish GP series as a junior 2. Finishing the Nationals and coming top 15 in U23 category 3.Winning a 3 day stage race against some of Scotlands best riders as an eighteen year old 4. coming 15th in chas messenger premier but knowing i could have been top 10 if i had't mucked up the finish!

Best moment on bike?
Whenever it feels like there is no chain attached to it.

Person who has had the most influence on your cycling career and why?
My Dad has had the most influence as he was the one to suggest i get a road bike when i was 17 and has encouraged me throughout my career so far. He's always told me that if you want something bad enough you'll get it, sounds cheesy but he's really instilled that attitude into to me to never give up.

Rider you most revere/admire and why?
Was always a big fan of Jason Macintyre, i never new him but i always admired his ability to come to every race in Scotland and down South in top shape and show every one just how good he was.

What was your first ever bike?
A blue giant mountain bike.

Your most "impressive" injury?
Have never broken anything but i was in a collision with a motorbike coming off a descent when he dumped it on a corner and his bike came sliding straight into me sending me flying over the handlebars and landing face first. Luckily had a helmet on but the entire left side of my face was twice it's normal size with skin hanging off!!. Hope your not eating reading this!

What is your favourite route?
None in particular but i do like to explore and try new roads and climbs.

If you were not a pro-racer what would you be doing right now?
It does't bear thinking about!

What is your hidden talent?
I eat an abnormal amount of food.

What is your favourite food?
Waffles.

Do you have a particular lucky ritual before a race or any other quirks or superstitions?
The ratchet on my shoes have got to be symetrical to each other and i feel like i perform better if i have white overshoes on!

Whats your aim for 2010 and beyond?
To continue developing as a rider and get some good results and to continue moving up the cycling ladder.

What does being in Endura Racing mean to you?
To be on the same team with riders of huge experience and knowledge of racing and training is invaluable to a young rider like myself. I feel very priveleged to have that available to me for next year on Endura. Being given this opportunity at any age is amazing but at 21 it's fantastic to be at Endura with a long career ahead of me.
