Four most significant cycling achievements?
2006 Commonwealth Games winning a Bronze medal, 2007 Winning the British Critetium Championships, 2007 Winning the First ever Nocturne, Representing Scotland at 2 Commonwealth games.
Best moment on bike?
Winning Bronze at the 2006 Commonwealth games and getting a chance at making my sport my job.
Person who has had the most influence on your cycling career and why?
My Parents, without them i would be nothing.
Rider you most revere/admire and why?
Lance Armstrong...Love him or hate him he's done so much for my sport.
What was your first ever bike?
A 300 quid steal Giant racer in 1990.
Your most "impressive" injury?
Broken left shoulder in 2008,snapped bicept tendon and dislocation of humerus. The whole left side of my leg had no skin on it from ankle to hip. £13,000 10 weeks off and 3 operations.
What is your favourite route?
The good old form finding loop around Talla, Gordon arms and back over the Granites. Ev and i do it a lot.
If you were not a pro-racer what would you be doing right now?
Freestyle motocross or Moto Gp. I love going fast.
What is your hidden talent?
I was a nurse for 5 years and a gymnast till the age of 15. Used to be able to do back flips till i puked but not since i broke my shoulder...i hate getting old.
What is your favourite food?
Red Thai curry or......... any curry that burns...
Do you have a particular lucky ritual before a race or any other quirks or superstitions?
Not that i'm aware of but i'm sure my team mates may have noticed some thing.
Whats your aim for 2010 and beyond?
Long term - i'm looking at winning another medal at the 2010 Commonwealth games in Delhi. Short term - To regain my national criterium title and help Endura racing win the Tour Series and gain selection for the Tour of Britain.
What does being in Endura Racing mean to you?
To be apart of a Professional team with this amount of experience and potential to win is awesome and to have a Scottish title sponsor on my back is a huge incentive to succeed.
