Winning the Rutland Melton International Cicle Classic 09 National U 23 MTB champ 2000 Girvan 07 overall win Representing GB at international competition.

Best moment on bike?
Leading the World relay champs at Fort William - the crowd noise was immense.

Person who has had the most influence on your cycling career and why?
Tim Lawson of SIS has helped me ever since my junior years and continues to throw crazy, and not so crazy, ideas about that push the boundaries of training.

Rider you most revere/admire and why?
Lance. Whatever you think of him, it is clear that nobody works as hard as he does in every area, to be where he is.

What was your first ever bike?
Plastic womble bike.

Your most "impressive" injury?
Knocking my self out for half an hour on impact with a tree during MTB race at sherwood forest.

What is your favourite route?
Nipple ride, 2.15hr ride over local perfectly formed hill.

If you were not a pro-racer what would you be doing right now?
Building an empire.

What is your hidden talent?
Perfect plastering.

What is your favourite food?
Roast chicken dinner.

Do you have a particular lucky ritual before a race or any other quirks or superstitions?
NO.

Whats your aim for 2010 and beyond?
To win more races than 2009 and make the team as succesful as possible.
