08/09 Melbourne world cup scratch race bronze medallist, 3 time Junior World Championships medallist, Points Race, Individual Pursuit, Team Pursuit .
Best moment on bike?
Winning the New Zealand National Road Champs in my last year as a u 17. Hilly course and went solo for the win!
Person who has had the most influence on your cycling career and why?
Hayden Roulston as we are from the same town and over the years he has given me a lot of advice and support.
Rider you most revere/admire and why?
Have several for the reasons they do well in their specified races. Mark Cavendish, Bradley Wiggins, Lance Armstrong, Hayden Roulston.
What was your first ever bike?
fixie club bike i got a phone call to go get a couple of days after my first race. Weighed about 20kgs but only had it for a couple of weeks and it made me strong!
Your most "impressive" injury?
Perianal Abcess.
What is your favourite route?
In Christchurch, New Zealand. Around the Bays. Although i live a bit far away from Chch to do this ride as much as i would like.
If you were not a pro-racer what would you be doing right now?
Riding for the federation or in NZ working.
What is your hidden talent?
NONE.
What is your favourite food?
Have several as it always changes. Cadbury Chocolate to home baking.
Do you have a particular lucky ritual before a race or any other quirks or superstitions?
NO.
Whats your aim for 2010 and beyond?
To perfrom well for Endura Racing and ride the commie Games. Also one day to join the Pro Tour and win stages in the tour de France.
What does being in Endura Racing mean to you?
Being in this team is a huge oppertunity for me. It is another stepping stone as it will allow me to ride in bigger races and develop more into a professional rider. The experience i will get from being in Endura will be huge by just having people such as Rob Hayles in the team. Its going to be great and im really looking foward to it.
