Endura Racing add further strength to 2012 squad

As previously announced, Endura Racing have already added three extremely strong riders in Erick Rowsell, Ian Bibby and Jonny McEvoy to our existing roster for next year and we're now pleased to announce that Dean Windsor, Jon Tiernan-Locke and Zak Dempster will be joining us in 2012 to add even more quality to the squad.

The trio join us from another UK UCI Continental team  and will be looking to racing extensively with Endura Racing in Europe and further afield as we build on a hugely successful 2011 which saw the team finish 26th on the UCI Europe Tour and pick up more than 20 stage and overall wins.

Dean Windsor (age 25) has been a formidable criterium rider since arriving in the UK in 2010 with a string of impressive performances and wins.
I could not be more pleased joining Endura Racing for 2012. I was forced to take plenty of notice of the team over the past two years, as every race I lined up against them, they always rode strong, smart and were very professional. Endura support their riders to get the most out of their abilities and importantly provide vast and huge opportunities in races all over the world. I cant wait for the 2012 Season!

Already clear aims and goals have been set out for 2012. Using Girona, Spain as my European base I will be focusing my training on a program of UCI tours and one day races. With a new coach I will be working on and improving my sprint finish. I am motivated to add some big wins to my resume.

Jon Tiernan-Locke (age 26) had a fine year with a stage win and 2nd overall at the Vuelta a Leon (UCI 2.2), but it was his dominant performance in the King of the Mountains competition at the Tour of Britain (UCI 2.1), where he also finished 6th overall, that really brought him to the cycling world's attention.
After a solid 2011 season I'm really excited to be joining Endura Racing and looking forward to taking on a more challenging race programme.  Naturally I want to continue my development as a cyclist, and see Endura Racing as an ideal environment to do this in.  I aim to hit the ground running in 2012, and contribute to the teams already impressive palmares, especially in the tougher stage races.

Zak Dempster (age 24) joins after a standout season where he finished the year racing as a stagiaire with HTC - Highroad for whom he raced against Endura Racing at the Tour of Utah and Paris - Bourges.
I'm really happy to be joining such a successful and ambitious team. I've obviously raced Endura a lot over the last two seasons and I see it as a good step towards racing more in Europe and continuing the progression I've shown.

I get along well with all the guys, although we were obviously pretty big rivals and I didn't hesitate in getting to the last corner first when I needed to! But I'm looking forward to getting to the training camp and working as a unit to deliver each other to as many victories as possible in 2012. I think we'll have a team that's highly competitive in professional races and able win the most important races in the UK, in particular the Rutland and the Lincoln are two important goals.

I'm aiming for another strong start to the season at UCI level in Europe. The goal of the season is pretty basic, win as many races and contribute to as many team victories as possible January through October.
