Making at mark at Vuelta a Murcia

After Alexandre Blain's heroics on stage one, Endura Racing proved that they had arrived on the European stage race circuit with another impressive outing on stage two.

Resplendent in the blue jersey of Meta Volantes leader, Alexandre Blain followed up stage one's fine performance with an intelligent ride to keep the jersey for another day. Not content with staying in blue, Alexandre sprinted to 4th on the stage to move to 8th overall.

Ian Wilkinson put in a gutsy performance to finish in 8th on the stage, moving up to 6th overall.

Jack Bauer, Evan Oliphant, Rob Partridge and James Moss all finished comfortably in the main bunch, with Ross Creber  battling back from being dropped early, coming in with some big names in the grupetto.

Stage three takes the riders over 166km between Las Torres de Cotillas and Alhama de Murcia and takes in the first category climb of Alto de Collado Bermejo.
